🚀 MiMSMS API V2 is Now Live

We are excited to announce the General Availability (GA) release of MiMSMS API V2, a major upgrade to our Bulk SMS platform designed for improved scalability, reliability, flexibility, and developer experience.

API V2 introduces new capabilities including SMS Scheduling, enhanced bulk messaging, Dynamic SMS personalization, improved Delivery Report tracking, and a cleaner versioned API structure.

Versioned API Architecture

All V2 endpoints are now available under a dedicated versioned path:

This provides better API lifecycle management and ensures future enhancements can be delivered without affecting existing integrations.

Structured Bulk Messaging

The OneToMany endpoint now accepts a structured smsData array instead of a comma-separated recipient list, enabling greater control and cleaner integrations.

Dynamic SMS Personalization

Send fully personalized messages to multiple recipients within a single API request.

SMS Scheduling

The new Schedule API allows developers to queue SMS messages for future delivery using ISO 8601 date-time formatting.

Promotional SMS requests can include an optional campaignId parameter for campaign-level reporting and analytics.

Enhanced API Responses

V2 responses now include additional metadata such as:

• Unique Tracking ID
• SMS Count
• Recipient Number Count
• SMS Language Type
• Source IP Address Information
• Maximum Sending Limit

Performance Optimization

All legacy functionality has been reviewed and optimized for:

📦 V1 API Status

The existing V1 API remains fully operational and supported.

No breaking changes have been introduced.

Migration Recommendation

While V1 will continue to be supported, developers are encouraged to migrate to V2 to benefit from new functionality, improved architecture, and future enhancements.

🔐 Authentication

API V2 uses the same authentication model as V1.

No credential changes are required.

Existing integrations can migrate using their current:

• userName
• apiKey

credentials.
